Build Supply Network is built for the practices specifying premium material on residential, hospitality, and boutique commercial projects across Australia. Not the volume market. Not the trade aggregators.
Every supplier application is reviewed before approval. We look at product quality, certifications, and fit with the architects we serve. Some are accepted. Many are not.
There is no algorithm pretending to be taste. There is matching by category, certification, and state coverage. The judgment that matters happens before a supplier ever appears in your results.

Apply
Architects, designers, developers, and suppliers apply through the platform. Each application is reviewed by our team. Approved members receive access within a few working days.
Brief
Architects post a project brief with material categories, state, project type, and timeline. Suppliers see only what is relevant to them.
Match
Matching is by material category, state coverage, and certification. Score weighting is transparent. There is no paid placement.
Specify
Direct messaging. Sample requests. Specification documents. Contact details unlock after the first confirmed order through the platform.

For suppliers.
- Apply to be listed. Approval based on product quality, certifications, and fit.
- Pay only when you win. A 3% commission applies on confirmed orders placed through the platform. No listing fees. No subscription. No payment unless an order completes.
- Visibility to architects sourcing materials for projects you actually want to be specified on.
The strength of a directory is the rigour of its inclusion. We would rather list ten suppliers an architect would specify than five hundred they would not.

What does it cost to apply?
Applying is free for both architects and suppliers. Architects, interior designers, and developers use the platform free of charge with no subscription. Suppliers pay a 3% commission only when a confirmed order is placed through the platform.
How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within a few working days. We may ask for additional information about your projects, products, or certifications before approving.
How does matching work?
Matches are calculated by material category, certification overlap, and Australian state coverage. The weighting is published in your account. There is no paid placement.
Which states do you cover?
All Australian states and territories. New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, ACT, and Northern Territory.
Do suppliers need to be based in Australia?
Yes. Build Supply Network is currently onboarding Australian based suppliers only. This ensures local lead times, local compliance with Australian Standards and the BCA, and local warranty accountability for specifiers.
Is my information private?
Contact details are not shared between members until a first order is confirmed through the platform. Until then, communication happens through the platform's secure messaging.
